These guidelines will give you a general idea on how artwork should be submitted. We will work with you throughout this process. Please call, fax or email with any questions you may have.
GENERAL FILE INFORMATION
- Save vector images as .eps files
- Include color .bmp or .jpg of artwork
- If you are sending a disc, please be sure it is PC formatted 3.5" (1.44MB)
- Please specify colors — we will match colors to the closest thread or ink color available
- Please email your artwork files to melissa@lakeswear.com as attachments
- Files must be in one of the following formats: .bmp, .jpg, .gif, .eps, .tif or .pdf
- A minimum of 200 dpi is required for clarity
APPROXIMATE IMPRINT SIZES FOR EMBROIDERED ITEMS:
- Full front/back (Adult S - 4X): Approx. max 12” wide / max 14” high
- Full front/back (Youth M – Youth XL): Approx. max 10” wide / max 14” high
- Left/Right chest: Approx. 3.5”-4” wide
- Upper back: Approx. 6”-12” wide / 3”-4” high
- Please email artwork to melissa@lakeswear.com
- A minimum of 150 dpi is required for clarity
- Artwork is highly recommended to be camera-ready in color or black & white to avoid additional artwork charges
GENERAL IMPRINT SIZES FOR SHIRTS / SWEATSHIRTS
- Full front/back (Adult M – 3X): Approx. 12.5" wide / max 13" high
- Full front/back (Youth M – Adult S): Approx. 10" wide / max 12" high
- Left chest: Approx. 3.5" wide
- Upper back: Approx. 6" wide / 4" high
- Sleeves: Approx. 4" wide / 6" long
